some of my earliest memories, I fell in love with singing. So there was nothing for it but to listen to my heart and spend my life writing and developing music. The drive to sing, play instruments and dance was a wild animal trying to claw its way out from within. All I wanted was to calm this sensation – I never anticipated just how much work I would put into music over the years, how fulfilling it would finally be, and just how far away from my first humble attempts at singing would my voice finally land. I surprised myself.
I’ve busked in the four big cities I’ve called home: Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and in a bunch of little places I’ve lived in or passed through too. The Sunshine Coast is where I now live.
